If you are a small business owner, then you should consider the importance of using video in your marketing strategy. Obviously, I am shooting a video right now, and Pete is helping me with the filming and editing.

I record these videos in the studio because I understand that bringing video content to my clients is a great way to engage with them in ways that aren’t effective by text or email.

The internet is shifting to video content. In fact, Facebook said that their goal is to be 100% video by 2021. What does that mean? I don’t quite understand how everything is going to pull together in the next few years. But, I do think that they are leaning in a way that encourages users to post a video before you can comment on the topic.

Marketing Your Small Business

My point with this tip is to share the thought that can help your business grow. If you are marketing a small business, you have to deal with video in some fashion. I would encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone and start marketing you and your business through video.

Use this media platform to share information about your company as well as the products and services that are available. Video can also be a great way to build relationships with current and potential customers because you can show your expertise in the industry.
